Level 1 - Ski Touring - Your ability should be
On Piste
You have had a number of weeks skiing in recent years and do not have a problem with skiing all day on red runs. Falling over is the exception rather than the rule and you are still keen to learn and improve. Your level of fitness and stamina is good and you take regular exercise.

Off Piste
You have tried it and like it! You have skied whilst wearing a rucksack and you enjoy the mountain way of life.

Ski Touring
This might be your first time you have skied toured hut to hut or you prefer the easier itineraries. The aim is to give you a tour that is not as demanding as level 2 and 3. It will also give you appropriate skills training if this is your first time. It is a good starting point for you if you plan to participate on our more demanding tour in future years.
