
The Alpine Ski Mountaineering / Touring season starts around mid March and runs through to early May. Beyond that, date is really just for ascents on skis of peaks like Mt. Blanc.
We have put together a number of popular ski touring programs for you to have a look through there are also links to photo galleries of the tours on most pages to give you a better idea of the route and the mountains the tour travels through.

If you have never ski toured before we would recommend that you gain experience day touring first on a off piste level 3.

The high level route from Chamonix to Zermatt is one of the best and most well known ski tours in the world, and justifiably so. It is a journey through spectacular high mountains and complex glaciated terrain. This is a tough journey and one that should only be undertaken when you have the necessary skills to deal with the high mountain environment. The rewards and satisfaction you will feel on completing this tour will last for a lifetime.
The West Oberland range of mountains is less frequently travelled than the mountains to the south of the Rhone ; this makes this area generally much quieter. The ski tour is a real gem and has turned out to be many peoples favourite. It starts from the Col du Pillon / Diablerets ski area (just to the east of Lac Leman) and over 5 days zig zags its way over the chain of peaks to Kandersteg. Following the route below we will gain a summit each day of the tour which really adds to the sense achievement.
All of the mountain huts on route are very welcoming and set in beautiful locations.
The best-known peak of the Bernese Oberland is the Eiger with its impressive North wall . Our journey starts at the foot of this peak in Grindelwald, a popular, traditional Swiss mountain village.
Our aim on this tour is to make a crossing from Grindelwald on the North side of the Bernese Oberland to Munster in the Rhone valley. We have an itinerary that is aimed at a level 2 skier and will take in some of the best peaks the region has to offer. If you have never skied or climbed in the Bernese Oberland it is an area you must visit! The scale of the mountains and glaciers in the Oberland are truly breathtaking.
The Bernese Oberland is a wild, sensational high mountain region. To get the most from the high peaks in this range a good level of fitness and ski ability. Many of the peaks require the use of ice axe and crampons to reach their summits. It is essential that you arrive possessing the appropriate mountaineering skills. You should note that this tour has a 1:2 guiding ratio, this is for safety reasons on the peaks we will be attempting.
