Level 3

The Level 3 off piste / day touring is the ultimate ski holiday! You will need a good level of fitness, a sense of adventure and a desire to find the best snow. Using ski mountaineering equipment or similar we will use as much uplift as possible then skin up to a col, ridge or summit to find the best snow for our descent or tour. We will occasionally use ropes, crampons and ice axes with our skis strapped to our rucksacks to make the final part of the ascent. If your ski ability fits the requirements this is the one for you, and we are sure you will be back time and time again to experience the true off piste of Chamonix !

Ability On Piste

You enjoy any terrain in the ski area (except bad snow ‘that is normal’).

Ability Off Piste

This is what you love and you want for more adventure! You have previous experience off piste. You are happy making turns in most off piste conditions. You have a wish to ski tour further a field and would like to try hut to hut touring like the Chamonix high level route at some point in the future. You don't mind a climb and you enjoy adventure and challenge.
