Alpine Explorer

Alpine Adventures - Alpine Explorer course is designed for climbers who have a wish to increase there alpine climbing experience. The course is based around the Chamonix massif rock climbing on the golden granite of the Mt. Blanc range. We will also spend time on the higher summits seeking out some outstanding ice climbs and mixed routes that Chamonix area ia famous for.

We will spend two to three nights in mountain huts during the course of this week. To consider joining this course you should be happy to climb around the PD+ alpine grade (British grade - Severe and grade 2+ ice).

As with all Alpine Adventures mountaineering courses your guide will aim to coach and instruct you in the necessary skills for a safe alpine climbing.

Program
We do not have a fixed program as such as conditions and people vary, but what we aim to do is get as much quality climbing in as possible. see the photos page to see examples of what is possible! That means climbing from day 1! Your guide will in consultation with yourself work out the best possible program for you and your climbing partner.

Ratio: 1:2 on all days

Including
all guiding fees - all in course valley transport.

Excluding
flights - airport transfer - Half board in hotel valley accommodation - Half board in Mountain huts -medical and rescue insurance - lunches - Specialist mountaineering equipment - additional social expenses - uplifts.
