Eiger South ridge 3970m

The first photos are of the Petite Aig Verte. We then travelled over to Grindelwald, Switzerland. We took the train up to Jungfraujoch and then spent the night in the Monchjoch hut 3630m. The next day was perfect for our ascent of the Eiger South ridge (this was our third trip to the region with this climb as our main objective). The south ridge is a long serious fairly difficult climb which needs to be in good condition. We spent 13 hours hut to hut followed by big beers too much food and bed. When Barry pulled out his suitcase and slippers I knew I was soon to loose a client to SAGA.
