Tailor Made Guided Holiday
Based in Chamonix area and Switzerland . This week we had planed to climb Mont Blanc but due to a bad weather forecast and wind slab on the Cosmiques route we chose to climb the Domes du Miage instead.
Day 1 - We started the week with a training day on the Mer de Glace.
Day 2 - We drove to Saas Grund and climbed the via ferrata on the Jegihorn 3206m.
Day 3 - we climbed the Lagginhorn 4010m.
Day 4 - we just managed to climb the Weissmies 4017m before bad weather hit.
Day 5 - We drove to Italy and went up to Point Helbronner on the lift and sat in the cafe drinking Italian coffee. We returned to the valley as the weather was too bad to go out.
Day 6 - Walk to the Conscrits Hut.
Day 7 - We climbed the Domes du Miage just as the weather cleared....

Looking back up to the summit of the Domes du Miage, it is also possible to ski off this summit in the winter it gives a really special descent back to the valley.
